Hixson Honors Two Teachers

Hixson recently honored two teachers through our Teacher of the Year program! Through this program, any Hixson associate is able to nominate an outstanding K-12 educator of their children or grandchildren. This year’s honorees are:

  • Amanda Klare, nominated by Hixson’s Nathan Arnold, Director of Client Development. Ms. Klare is a fourth-grade teacher at Beechwood Elementary School in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky and taught Nathan’s daughter this past school year.
  • Shannon Crawford, nominated by Hixson’s Christian Fasso, Controller. Ms. Crawford is a third-grade teacher at Stephens Elementary School in Burlington, Kentucky and taught Christian’s granddaughter this past year.

The Hixson Teacher of the Year program began in 1991 as a way for Hixson to honor the outstanding work teachers do to educate the next generation. Hixson has awarded more than $155,000 to outstanding local teachers during the program’s lifetime.
