Eurofins Genomics

In late 2021, Eurofins Genomics, a division of global analytical testing leader Eurofins Scientific, selected Hixson to design and engineer a new, 72,000 SF greenfield facility in Louisville, Kentucky. At completion, this $20+ million, two-story facility will contain multiple lab spaces, office space, and a warehouse space. The lab types include areas for Synthesis, Applied Genomics, Sequencing, and more, with separated cGMP and RUO workstreams. The building will also house employee amenities such as a cafeteria, fitness center, training and meeting spaces, and recreation spaces. In addition, the design incorporates civil elements including a bulk tank storage farm, partially covered and screened dock spaces and employee parking.
