Celebrating 75 Years!

In 1948, former Navy Captain Lewis Hixson established an engineering firm with his friend Eugene Tartar in a small office in downtown Cincinnati.

Since then, we’ve sharpened our skills, enhanced our capabilities, and broadened our geographic reach: Today, Hixson is a full-service firm specializing in Food & Beverage, Science & Technology, and Workplace projects throughout North America. With 20 integrated, in-house technical disciplines, Hixson provides comprehensive, collaborative solutions for our clients, that include many of the world’s most well-known and respected companies.
